Welcome to the website of Litton Church of England Primary School.
We are a small rural school situated in the picturesque village of Litton in the Derbyshire Dales and our school dates back to 1869. We are proud to be a Church of England Aided school and we are at the heart of the Christian community in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Tideswell. We currently have 46 children on role taught in two mixed age classes.
During our recent Ofsted inspection in February 2025, we were rated as Outstanding in Behaviour, and Attitudes and Personal Development. We were rated Good in the Quality of Education, and Leadership and Management. We have consistently high academic results. We also hold Outstanding church School status.
